Join Us for the Centennial Thanksgiving Service

As Vacation Church School (VCS) marks its remarkable century milestone, the Board of Christian Education and Discipleship extends a warm invitation to the VCS Centennial Thanksgiving Service on April 3, 2024. The worship will be at 9:00 in the morning at Central United Methodist Church, located on T.M. Kalaw Street, Ermita, Manila.

Centennial Celebrations and Facilitators Training Workshops

In conjunction with the centennial festivities, the Centennial VCS Facilitators Training Workshop for MEA and BEA will take place from April 2nd to 5th. This  will be hosted at the new Wesley Conference Room on the 4th Floor of the UMC Headquarters Building, 900 United Nations Avenue, Manila.

Moreover, VCS trainings and centennial celebrations for the Davao Episcopal Area will be also be conducted. The  theme for this monumental occasion is “REJOICE IN HOPE,” complementing the UMC quadrennial theme, “Know that I am God.”

To participate, a registration fee of Five Thousand Pesos (5,000 PhP) for live-in participants and Four Thousand Pesos (4,000 PhP) for live-out participants is required. Accommodation will be arranged in nearby hotels and inns.

Additionally, upload the transaction receipt to the Messenger account of Mary Joyce Villanueva. Early registration is highly encouraged until March 15 to streamline our preparations.

Open Invitation to Church Workers and Educators

The Facilitators’ Training Workshop welcomes all church workers, pastors, deaconesses, and teachers of children and youth on a first-come, first-served basis. Delegates are expected to arrive between 5:00 – 8:00 in the morning of April 2nd, with the Opening Worship commencing at 10:00 am. Registration will take place at the UMC Headquarters.
